Empowering Lives Through Celebration and Skill Development 2025
In addition to the celebration, the program featured practical empowerment training sessions designed to promote self-reliance and economic sustainability. Participants received hands-on training on small-scale income generation, including how to produce liquid soap from scratch and the art of tying gele.
These skills were intentionally selected to equip the women with practical knowledge they can immediately apply to start or support small businesses, generate income, and improve their livelihoods beyond the festive season.
Promoting Health and Wellness Through Community Medical Outreach
As part of the holistic approach to care and empowerment, the program also incorporated basic health and wellness activities. Free medical screenings were conducted for participants, including blood pressure checks and hypertension assessments, to promote early detection and health awareness.
In addition, guided light exercise sessions were held to encourage healthy living and physical well-being, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to supporting not only economic empowerment but also the overall health of the women in our community.
